We dropped off Baby J at Grami’s house so we could take an evening walk at South Carlsbad State Beach. We parked at the South Ponto lot and walked all the way south to the first staircase in Leucadia. They have been dredging there, and tons of birds were splashing in the pools at the water’s edge. It was a quiet way to spend my 29th birthday (before the girls’ night that weekend) and a nice break from the sand-eater. 🙂
